Wholesome red lentils, freshly ground spices, dried red chilies and curry leaves unite to create this creamy, fragrant red lentil stew with a robust infused oil finish and bright citrus flavor. The included long grain Basmati rice is easy to make while the lentils simmer.
This dish includes a traditional technique, called thadka, where cooks infuse small quantities of oil or ghee with spices. This mixture is poured over the cooked lentils, adding a unique depth of flavor.

Super easy to follow recipe instructions, and incredibly delicious and fragrant chicken. The resulting curry-sauce was flavorful, spicy, and SO GOOD. I am already looking forward to making this again! The only thing is when I simmered the chicken in the sauce for 25-30 minutes with the lid on, the broth was still too watery at the end. I removed the lid and let it simmer for 30 extra minutes.

I have been making my own pickled onions for years, so I was curious to see what might be different about these and if I liked this recipe, how I might "reverse engineer" it. These turned out very nice -- more fresh tasting and oniony than my usual very vinegary style. Excellent in salads and sandwiches, and for munching on while I am cooking. Seems a little pricey for what you get, but this would make a wonderful gift with a pretty jar and a small bag of red onions.

I've always stir-fried or braised cabbage -- never thought to oven roast it until I tried this recipe starter. So easy and tasty! And so colorful! So happy to have learned a new technique and flavor profile for the humble cabbage.

Purchased this product at an event held in San Francisco. I like the fact that there are two sets of spices so you can make the dish twice! Easy instructions to follow and having pre-portioned spices really sped up the cooking. The tips provided with the recipe are helpful too. Definitely worth a try if you enjoy cauliflower!

Instructions were spot on. A beginning cook could pull this off without any trouble. Quality ingredients. This was a great way to discover a dish I hadn't tried before. Great balance of heat/acid/spice. The chiles dont kick you in the face, but create a lingering heat thats really pleasant on q winter night here in Colorado.
