What cooking oil should I use?
We recommend an oil that can stand up to high heat cooking, such as ghee or avocado oil. Other oils, like olive oil can be used, just watch out for scorching or smoking.
Should I remove the whole spices before eating?
We recommend removing the larger whole spices such as cardamom, cinnamon stick, cloves, and bay leaves before serving. Smaller whole spices, such as mustard seeds and cumin seeds, do not need to be removed. If you are concerned about whole spices, leave them out, thought the quality of the final product will be significantly diminished.

Where are Whole Spice Kitchen recipe starters made?
Our products are made in a licensed commercial kitchen in San Mateo, California.
How long do Recipe Starters last?
Our Recipe Starters are shelf stable and do not require refrigeration. Each package is marked with a Best By date which is typically between 6 and 12 months from the time we grind the spices and package the ingredients.
How do I store my Recipe Starters?
Store in a cool dry place.

How much does shipping cost?
Shipping within the United States:
Orders of $50 or more qualify for Free Priority Shipping. This offer is valid for single-destination shipments within the continental United States only.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes! We are proud to offer Free Priority 1-3 day Shipping on orders $50 and up.
How long does it take to ship my order?
We process orders within 1 to 3 business (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive another notification when your order has shipped that will include your tracking number. We use Priority Shipping for all orders so they should arrive 1-3 days after processing.
What is your refund policy?
We are confident that you will be delighted with your Whole Spice Kitchen purchase. We stand by our products 100% so if something is not right, we will fix it.
You can return or exchange full-priced products within 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must be in the original packaging. If you would like to initiate a return, please send an email to admin@wholespicekitchen.com
If we shipped your order for free, the original shipping amount will be deducted from the credit amount. Shipping charges are non-refundable

Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If a refund is approved, your refund will be processed (less applicable shipping charges), and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 1-5 days, depending on your bank.
